Location

Our holiday apartment Gruga is situated on the ground floor of the house 45128 Essen, Steinstrasse 8. It is located directly in the city centre. The Opera House and the Philharmonic Theatre are only separated by the city garden and within walking distance. There is a direct connection by tram to University Hospital Essen and the Landgericht (Court House). Messe Essen (Trade Fair) is located in the immediate vicinity and can be reached in a few minutes by car or public transport. The main train station as well as the city centre (shopping) is located in the immediate vicinity. Likewise, the trendy district Rüttenscheider Strasse with its many restaurants, bars and small shops.

LIVING ROOMS AND BEDROOMS

The apartment has two bedrooms, a living room with studio couch, kitchen, hallway, bathroom, and a small garden. In each bedroom and in the living room you will find a modern flat screen TV, a large mirror, 2 beds, wardrobe and shelves.

The living room is equipped with a spacious studio couch that can be pulled out into a double bed of the size 1.80x2.00 m, dresser, and an extendable dining table with chairs for up to 6 persons. A larger bedroom has a double bed (1.80x2.00 m), bedside cabinets and a desk. A small bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.60x2.00 m) and bedside cabinets.

In one bedroom there is also a small seating area. A travel cot for infants can be provided if requested.

KITCHEN with access to the garden

The kitchen has direct access to the garden. The modern kitchen is equipped with ceramic glass cooktop, oven, exhaust hood, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher. It also includes glasses, dishes and cutlery for a minimum of 10 persons and all the accessories that is necessary and suitable for cooking. In addition, a generous extendable table with 6 chairs that can accommodate 8 persons.

Relax in the CORNER BATHTUB

The bathroom includes a corner bathtub that is also suitable for a shower, towel heater, washbasin and toilet. Bedclothes and towels are provided and changed weekly. If you want the bedclothes and towels to be changed more often, please contact us.
